A few days ago I met an 8-year old girl for the first time. Jilly is her name.

She had a cold. So Kelly, her Mum, brought her along - together with her colouring pencils and books - to a meeting we had.

During a break in the meeting I gave Jilly my iPhone, and I cued it up on the shortened kids-version of the ONE Movie (or the Bumblebee movie as it's becoming known).

She was bent over the iPhone seriously attentive and clearly loviRight now I’m on Singapore Airlines SQ236. We took off at 2:45 this afternoon from Brisbane.

For me, planes are special places. There’s something magical about flying. And to do it these days with great meals, great service and great things to do on board make it even more special for me.
