In the last few months alone, several companies decided to come on
board with Buy1Build1™ giving. Every time someone buys a house from
these companies, the customer gets to build a home for one person! WOW!
And of course, this is not a small contribution. It is a MASSIVE
contribution from each transaction. And this is happening NOW.
So, let's look at one example in this issue with some more to follow soon. Let's share the story of a wonderful company in UK who took on the concept very quickly and put things in action.
Marcus Edwards from Sunsplash Homes in the UK was the first to implement Buy1Build1. His company's slogan is now this: Buy a home, give a home.
And you can buy great international property from this company no matter where you are! Marcus demonstrates one very important and remarkable human quality. We believe this is one of the most critical parts of his company's success.
It is Generosity.

Isn't that the real key to success? When we think we cannot give that much, we cannot. When we think, "How can we do that then?" we find the answer. And if you can't find the answer on your own, please ask us the question! We always LOVE the challenge in making things happen. Especially the 'impossible' ones.
So now, please just do this :
IMAGINE.
"We bought a house - our dream home - somewhere in the country we wanted to spend our retirement or holidays, and it even made a massive return on our investment, and it was a great price ...
Would we be happy to buy a house like this and then help build one for someone who lost a house in a natural disaster? Every time we walked into our own dream home, we'd see the smile of the person who'd received a home. Imagine feeling the sense of connection. Imagine if this was your legacy home. Your children and grand children would enjoy the house and experience the legacy you left for the generations that follow you."
Generosity coupled with gratitude makes such a difference. And it's always been that way. Nearly 100 years ago, the legendary Henry Ford put it this way:
"The man who will use his skill and constructive imagination to see how much he can give for a dollar, instead of how little he can give for a dollar, is bound to succeed"
And today that legacy of giving lives on, just like it will for people like Marcus. The Ford Foundation continues today to donate over half a billion dollars each year to reduce poverty.
