Previously known as 1-1 Card, it's now called B1G1 Card.

When we asked Wilson Ong from Ultimate Communications (one of the B1G1 Business Partners), why he chose to become a social entrepreneur, he said one thing we will not forget.

Simply this: the company had a passion to give back.

He worked with UNESCO for a number of years in the area of non-formal education. His work involved developing programs and materials to improve adult education in countries in Asia and the Pacific.

Australian Buy1GIVE1 member (and massive supporter) Liane Simons, sent us a fascinating report from the BBC about research on giving.

The researchers first carried out a survey of 630 people which asked them to rate their general happiness, report their annual income; and provide a breakdown of their monthly spending including bills, gifts for themselves, gifts for others and donations to charity.
