Buy1GIVE1 Giving and Worthy Causes
It’s great that you’re interested to discover how Buy1GIVE1 partners with Worthy Causes. If you are a charity (or as we prefer - a Worthy Cause) then here are some important things you’ll find useful to know.
The criteria
First, Worthy Cause partners are very carefully selected through a questionnaire process.
Part of that process is that the Worthy Cause has to be able to ‘chunk down’ its work so that we know precisely how much it takes to, for example, feed a child or get a child access to water or to plant and care for a tree. (There are a myriad of examples of course.) That way, Buy1GIVE1 Businesses get to partner with you by creating a giving ‘story’ based around each selected transaction in their business.
Further documentation and background information is also requested through this process.
Some charities do find it hard to ‘pass’ the criteria. But they are crucial for us because they are absolutely central to Buy1GIVE1’s core ethos around the power of Buy1GIVE1 transaction-based giving.

Becoming part of Buy1GIVE1 is a great addition to your existing fund-raising. The more information and value you can provide to the donors, the more support you are likely to attract. Buy1GIVE1 partnership gives organisations ability to attract more consistent support from companies because it is transaction-based.
Becoming part of Global Giving Village
Worthy Causes are almost always recommended to us by Buy1GIVE1 ‘Citizens’ and Buy1GIVE1 Businesses and then (once they’re accepted) have no ongoing fees to play a part in this Global Giving Village. Once your Worthy Cause is accepted by Buy1GIVE1, then Buy1GIVE1 Businesses partner specifically with their chosen cause in a simple way.
