Simple steps of your giving

Becoming a B1G1 Business clearly has huge and recurring positive impact for you. Yet it is one of the simplest things you can ever do. Here are the steps:

1. You sign up to license the B1G1 brand for 3 years
2. You choose one or more of your products or services to be ‘Buy1GIVE1’
3. You choose a dollar value (from as little as 1 cent to hundreds and in some cases, thousands of dollars) that you feel comfortable in giving from each sale of your products and/or services
4. You choose a Worthy Cause Partner — either online from the B1G1 Worthy Cause list or from your own sources
5. Together with B1G1, you create a powerful story; for example it might be, ‘when you buy this book, a tree is planted’ or ‘when you dine with us, a hungry child is fed’. Each story is specific and resonant. It is never ‘we give x % of our profits to …’ or ‘we support ….’. It is always specific and always transaction-based.
6. Each month or every quarter at your discretion, you’re reminded by Buy1GIVE1 to report the total sales of your nominated products/services. Your resulting contribution is then sent directly from you or through Buy1GIVE1 to your selected Worthy Cause Partner.
