Eight years ago I woke early one morning with a vision. The vision was incredible - so detailed and inspiring. For some reason I felt it would take 40 years to create the vision. Back then, Masami Sato and I had not yet started on our business journey together. We were both deeply inspired by the vision and chose to dedicate our lives to making it happen. We had little of no business skills and very little money.

There is a whole story behind why I received such an amazing vision in the first place and how we got started - but that is another story! The part of story I connect with today is the part about supporting the evolution of a new way of doing business - a way that nurtured and cared for people and the environment.

Today eight years down the path and with two previous 'booster-rocket' businesses behind us, we are still going strong. The vision has expanded - hugely. It has expanded because we have shared it. The vision has also become very simple. Today the vision that we share is simply - "A Simple Idea Sharing The Joy Of Giving".

The original vision I received involved the creation of hundred's of schools, the creation of a teaching and business university, feeding hundreds of thousands of children and caring for the environment. We originally thought we had to do this all on our own. Our journey over the last eight years opened us up to doing it together with others.

Today with a much simpler vision that people are able to understand in a heart beat, we now know the results created will be thousands of times greater than what was shown to me in the original vision. This is happening because we now know we are sharing something that every single person on this planet wants - joy! By sharing the vision that to receive and experience joy all you need to do is give, then we connect with everyone's desires for something so simple and something we can all have. To experience joy today, give joy to someone else today - it's that simple. This has been our gift of remembering. That is why our vision has changed and become much much bigger.

So today - this is my first blog entry for Buy1GIVE1Free and I feel blessed I can look back and remember that day eight years ago and feel immensely touched to know that the vision is happening - not in the way I expected but in a much bigger and magical way. My son Kai who is three, is sitting on my lap as I write this. How amazing is that! I'm working and connecting at the same time with one of the most precious people in my life. This is all part of the joy of giving because the greatest gifts we give are to ourselves. And as we allow ourselves to let go and follow our dreams, magic happens. I can now do the work that makes my heart sing each day allowing me always to remember that life is simply about joy.

My blog will be about the magic of living the life of our dreams - allowing ourselves to create the magic we want and enjoying the fruits of that in both our personal and business lives by empowering our lives and our thinking. So welcome and thank you.
